Welcome to session 6:
Aim: To be able to relax in the now and open our eyes for the first time into our new reality.
Action: Nothing much. Just observe like a newborn baby finding for the first time the movements of his/her tiny feet and hands. Observe everything around, the place, the smells, the objects and the people. Feel the feelings, warm or cold, feelings of stress or peace. Look with innocent eyes and mind. No judgment only acknowledgment with big open eyes and a humble smile.
Today we are stepping for the first time in holy ground. Imagine how the pilgrims of the 13 colonies felt when they first arrived in America. All that land, all that beauty, all that richness and abundance. Imagine if you can how did they feel. Imagine the humility of being presented with all that generosity.
Can you see the endless valleys, the majestic mountains and the bountiful rivers?
Just like them, today we're placing our first footprint in the field of our new consciousness. Don't try to understand it, just enjoy all the bounty of this empty field where we will plant the seeds of our dreams, hopes and desires.
Let's take the sufficient time to process all that's is happening inside of us. Yesterdays Big Bang left us bewildered and we need to take it slowly.
Let's be kind with ourselves today.
Even our thoughts are new. Yes, I know we brought our luggage with us thinking that we may need it.
However, we now realize that all that we need is already here and we can relax and let go of the old thoughts. It may feel a little strange and sad at the beginning but it will get better with time. Let them go with gratitude for they served they purpose.
Lets take a moment to acknowledge our old thoughts and lovingly releasing them back to the Cosmos to be integrated to the All-One-Self.
Exercise I:
Close your eyes and make a cup of offering with both your hands at your heart level. Place inside, in the middle of your palms the old ways of thinking and reacting.
How? With conscious intention of releasing the old patterns and see them fly away.
They don't belong to you anymore. You may remember them but it will be like remembering an old movie. Completely impersonal, like an outsider.
Pain & Disease
Part of the baggage we brought with us could be physical pain or disease. Whatever we brought along, let's simply observe it and be aware that those feelings or pains are now taking a different intensity. Why? Because we choose to. When we consciously become aware of our body pains, they immediately take a different tonality because their message is finally being heard.
When our body becomes aware of our intention to listen, it will start talking to us more frequently and less painfully. Enjoy this experience and live it to its full.

This is an exercise to help experiencing the process of:
How to listen to my body?
Time: We can start with 1 minute and gradually increasing to 3, 7, 11, 31 or 62 minutes.
Place: Try to choose a place indoors or outdoors that is quiet and inviting for meditation and relaxation and try to keep away from distractions. That means no children and pets allowed. This time is for you only.
Atmosphere: What about choosing a mantra or a relaxing melody. (check the video at the end of this post) Mantras help us to interrupt the production of involuntary thinking with its repetitive and high frequency nature.
If you like, put a candle or incense that will change the aroma of the air.
Open windows and let the air flow all around you.
Posture: Sited or lying down. Choose an easy position that you can hold for some time. Keep an open mind and loving attitude. Remember you are preparing yourself to listen to yourself maybe for the first time in your life.
Concentration: Embark on an imaginary journey throughout your body. Start at your toes and slowly move upwards, feel your feet, ankles, lower legs, thighs, hips... all the way to the top of your head. Imagine a warm bright light coming into your crown chakra and spreading evenly through all your body. Feel every part, every inch. Imagine the muscles, the bones, the blood as you travel up to your head. Spread love and joy to every part while you’re visiting them.
Now, listen, feel & observe.
Take as as long as your heart calls for and when it feels right, come out of this experience and smile.
